A previous owner s name is written inside front cover.
H/cover is brown cloth boards with gold print on spine and front as well as decoration on front. Shows minimal wear top and bottom of spine and botton corners. Has remains of old sticker on front bottom. Is in very good condition.

For sale is Police in Victoria 1836-1980 . In soft cover format with protective plastic jacket the book was compiled in 1980 by the Victoria Police Management Services Bureau and contains 126 pages including numerous b&w illustrations.
Chapters include, Early Years 1836-1853, Mitchell to Miller 1853-1980, Mounted Police, Detective Police, Women Police, Wireless Patrol, The Police Strike, Traffic Police, Fingerprints and Forensic Science, Police Communications and Modern Police Operations.
Although used, the book looks as though its hardly been read. The cover shows signs of use including creasing at the bottom right hand corner on the front.
